| If you need to be in this area of Moscow, and presumably somebody else does at some time or another, the Sayany is a surprisingly pleasant little hotel that costs next to nothing. The choice of food at the bar-restaurant is somewhat limited, and you won't find anything else in the immediate vicinity. Other than that, though, you get a perfectly serviceable single room, with a fridge to keep supplies in. Also, there's a basic gym you can use for about $5 per hour. At the weekend, I went riding in the Elk Island Park, which was a fantastic experience. Not sure how easy this hotel would be to handle if you didn't speak Russian, though. |
