| I think your experience of the Molodyozhny is going to depend on what type of room you book. We took one look at our booked standard room and were straight on the phone to Moscow-hotels to arrange an upgrade. Once we got to the Sky Floor Double, it was like we were in a completely different hotel. More expensive, true, but still reasonable for Moscow. Views from the 22nd floor were wonderful. Everything else at the hotel was fine, including the breakfast spread, although service was a little impersonal. Journey time to the downtown was just over 30 minutes, which seemed reasonable. All in all, I was pretty happy with our choice, but I can only warn you that it doesn’t pay to economize at the Molodyozhny. |
