How do I get from the hotel to the Bolshoi Theater?

If you plan to travel by taxi to the Bolshoi Theater from the AST-Hof Hotel, the drive should take around 20 minutes, but can take much longer during evening rush hour. The safer alternative is to take the metro from Bagrationovskaya (about ten minutes' walk from the hotel) and travel four stops east to Kievskaya. From there, change to the dark-blue line and continue three stops east to Ploshchad Revolyutsii, which is less than five minutes' walk from the theatre.
