How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

It is a little under 30km from Vnukovo Airport, located to the south-west of Moscow, to the President Hotel by road. For those who wish to use public transport rather than a taxi, there is a bus service from the airport which is particularly convenient for the President Hotel.

By taxi
Official taxis cost approximately $60, and you can also pre-order an airport transfer here. The drive from Vnukovo to the President Hotel should take around 40 minutes.

By train
Aeroexpress trains run from Vnukovo Airport to Kiev Railway Station. The service runs daily on the hour from 6am to 12am. Tickets cost a little over $10 for adults, with discounts for young children, first-class tickets and family tickets available. From Kievskaya Metro Station, take the brown circle line and travel anticlockwise two stops to Oktyabrskaya, which is under ten minutes' walk from the President Hotel.

By bus
The 705m marshrutka minibus shuttle runs from Vnukovo to Oktabrskaya Metro Station. The service runs from 7am to 11pm at 15-25 minute intervals, the journey takes around 40 minutes (allow more at peak times), and tickets cost around $4. The bus stops just past Oktyabrskaya Metro Station on Bolshaya Yakimanka Ulitsa, less than ten minutes' walk from the President Hotel.
