The Kremlin is roughly 1km north of the President Hotel, so it is fairly easy to walk there, and worth it for the views across the Moskva River on your way. Coming out of the front entrance, turn left up Ulitsa Bolshaya Yakimanka and follow the road north across the Vodootvodny Canal and then the Moskva River, with the walls of the Kremlin stretching to your right in front of you. Once over the bridge, use the first pedestrian crossing on your right to reach the Alexandrovsky Garden, then walk straight through the park to the main visitor entrance of the Kremlin in the Kutafya Tower.
You can also follow the same route by trolleybus. The No. 33 service runs from the stop opposite the hotel to Mokhovaya Ulitsa (four stops), from where it is two minutes' walk to the Kremlin visitor entrance.
