How do I get from the hotel to the Bolshoi Theater?

If you are not planning to take a taxi to the theater (a drive that should take 10-15 minutes, but can take considerably longer in evening rush hour traffic), the simplest way to reach the Bolshoi Theater from the President Hotel is to take the metro from Oktyabrskaya Station (about 400m from the hotel) and travel north one stop on the orange line to Tretyakovskaya. Change there to the dark-green line and continue north one stop to Teatralnaya, which is a few steps from the theater.
