Which visitor attractions are located near the hotel?

Orekhovo Hotel

Due to the hotel’s slightly distant location, the only conveniently located attraction is the Tsaritsyno Park. It is an impressive former royal estate with large gardens and a grand pseudo-Gothic palace which was built for Catherine the Great.

The grounds were originally owned by the sister of Tsar Boris Godunov in the late 16th century. It was eventually bought by Catherine the Great in 1775. This saw an explosion of construction on the grounds as several architects worked to create the palace and landscaped gardens. Interestingly, the pseudo-Gothic palace and grounds were never fully completed but due to an extensive renovation they can be enjoyed today.
