Novotel Moscow Centre is located to the north of Moscow's historic downtown, approximately 3.5 kilometers from Red Square and just 1 kilometer outside the Garden Ring.
Sheremetevo-1 and Sheremetevo-2 airports are approximately 1 hours' drive from the Novotel Moscow Centre. Other Moscow airports - Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Bykovo - are slightly further away, and take 1.5-2 hours to reach.
The nearest railroad stations are Belarus and Savelov, which take approximately 10 minutes to reach by car. Riga, Leningrad, Kazan, and Yaroslavl stations can be reached in 20-30 minutes by car. Kursk and Kiev stations are a 30-40 minute car ride away, while Pavletsk station can be reached in 40-45 minutes.

In the same building as the Novotel Moscow Centre is the Meyerhold Centre, named after the actor, director, and teacher Vsevolod Meyerhold. The Center provides a kind of bridge between historical and theoretical research and the practice of experimental theater, and strives to develop Meyerhold's ideas as a theatrical innovator.
A kilometer or so from the theater is the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, which hosts symphonic, organ, and choral concerts as well as performances by folk and dance ensembles. The hall is the Moscow State Philharmonic's main concert space.
10 minutes' walk from the hotel is the Central Museum of the Interior Ministry. The museum's exhibits include documents, military medals, photographs, and personal memorabilia belonging to major figures in the history of law enforcement in Russia. |
