Nearest metro: Timiryazevskaya

The Molodyozhny Hotel is located in the north of Moscow, 8km from the Kremlin and Red Square, in a modern residential area with a large historic park nearby.

The nearest metro station, Timiryazevskaya, is around seven minutes' walk from the Molodyozhny directly down Dmitrovoskoe Shosse, the major road that runs past the hotel. From there, it is six stops (or 12 minutes' journey time) to Borovitskaya, right next to the Kremlin.

Moscow's mainline railway stations are all within 40 minutes' drive of the Molodyozhniy Hotel. Sheremetyevo Airport, which is to the north-west of Moscow, is about 25km from the hotel, and can be reached in 40-60 minutes. Vnukovo Airport is approximately 35km or 70 minutes' drive away, while Domodedovo is well over 50km from the Molodyozhniy, and guests should allow at least 90 minutes for the drive to/from the airport.

Local Sightseeing

The area around the Molodyozhniy was mostly developed in the 1980s, and there is little of historic interest for visitors to see. The one exception is Timiryazevskiy Park, about 15 minutes' walk from the hotel. Once the suburban estates of the Counts Razumovskiy, the fine neoclassical palace by Nikolai Benois, court architect to Nicholas I, has long been used as an agricultural college and is not open to the public. However, its rambling landscape gardens are a charming place to walk, with various sculptures and monuments still to be found among the undergrowth.
