How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

It is less than 30 km from Vnukovo, in the south-western part of Moscow, to the Medea Hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located for using the Aeroexpress rail link while the journey by car should not take more than 45 minutes.

By taxi
Official taxis from Vnukovo will cost approximately $60, and the drive to the Medea Hotel will take 30-45 minutes. It is also possible to book a transfer in advance here.

By train
Aeroexpress trains run from Vnukovo to Kiev Railway Station, which is less than 1km from the hotel. Trains run every hour on the hour from 6am to 12am daily, and single adult tickets cost about $11. To complete your journey, take the metro from Kievskaya Metro Station on the dark-blue line three stops east to Ploshchad Revolutsii. Change there to Teatralnaya and the dark green line, and travel one stop south to Novokuznetskaya. The Medea is less than 100 meters from the station.

By bus
Buses run from the edge of the car park in front of Vnukovo Terminal D (domestic flights) to Yugo-Zapadnaya Metro Station in the south-west of Moscow. Regular buses (611 and 611c) run from 5.30am to 12.50am daily every 10-15 minutes and less than 25 minutes to reach the metro. Tickets cost $3-4. There are also faster and slightly more expensive minibus shuttles (611b and 45) running from 7am to 11pm. From Yugo Zapadnaya, travel north on the red line nine stops to Okhotny Ryad. Change there to the dark-green line and travel south one stop to Novokuznetskaya. The Medea is less than 100 meters from the station.
