How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

It is less than 30km by road from Vnukovo, to the south-west of Moscow, to the Maxima Slavia Hotel. Considering the complexities of the journey by public transport, most guests will want to order a transfer or take a taxi to the hotel.

By taxi
Official taxis from Vnukovo will cost approximately $60, and the drive to the Maxima Slavia Hotel will take 50-70 minutes. It is also possible to book a transfer in advance here.

By train
Aeroexpress trains run from Vnukovo to Kiev Railway Station in downtown Moscow. Trains run every hour on the hour from 6am to 12am daily, and adult single tickets cost roughly $11. To complete your journey, take the metro from Kievskaya Metro Station, go on the brown circle line four stops clockwise to Prospekt Mira Station, change to the orange line and travel three stops north to VDNKh. To reach the Maxima Slavia from the metro, you can either use the hotel's complimentary shuttle or take a public bus ten stops north along Prospekt Mira/Yaroslavskoe Shosse.

By bus
Buses run from the edge of the car park in front of Vnukovo Terminal D (domestic flights) to Yugo-Zapadnaya Metro Station in the south-west of Moscow. Regular buses (611 and 611c) run from 5.30am to 12.50am daily every 10-15 minutes and take under 25 minutes to reach the metro. Tickets cost $3-4. There are also faster and slightly more expensive minibus shuttles (611b and 45) running from 7am to 11pm. From Yugo Zapadnaya, travel north on the red line eleven stops to Chistye Prudi, and then change to the orange line and travel 5 stops north to VDNKh, which is a 15-minute bus ride from the Maxima Slavia Hotel.
