How do I get from the hotel to the Tretyakov Gallery?

It is reasonably easy to get to the Tretyakov Gallery from the Maxima Slavia Hotel. Take the free shuttle bus (or a public bus) to VDNKh Metro Station, and from there it is a direct trip seven stops south on the orange line to Tretyakovskaya, which is around five minutes' walk from the gallery.
