Although it is not so close to the Red Square, this for me is the best Marriott in Moscow. The sporting and spa facilities are very good. Also excellent is the Executive Lounge, worth booking for the free drinks and for very large amounts of tasty food for free. Eating dinner at the hotel can be very expensive, but fortunately there are many, many good restaurants in the vicinity.

I stayed in this hotel in November 2004. Excellent service and rooms. Perfect location. Prices are a bit steap: 5 euros for a pack of smokes, when the same exact pack is 30 rubles in the kiosk 50 yards away. Overall, much better then other european Marriotts.

We stayed at the Marriott Grand in January of 2005. We found it to be extremely comfortable, the staff very friendly & accommodating. The decor is nice what you would expect from the Marriott chain and provided some comforts of home (i-net cafe).

I stayed at the Moscow Marriott Grand Hotel in October of 2003. My husband and I were in Moscow to adopt. The staff was very nice and everyone spoke English. The room was clean and spacious. The food was great. If you have ever been to Russia you will appreciate the service you will receive at the hotel. Now were else in Russia did I feel so comfortable and safe. The only down side was the price. However, in the long run the american feel of the place was worth it after a long day in Russia.
