Los Hotel in Moscow

Part of a chain of Moscow hotels run by the Presidential Administration, the Los is a small three-star conferencing hotel with a parkland setting on the edge of the large Losiny Ostrov ("Elk Island") Nature Reserve. The Los Hotel is too far from the city centre to appeal to most tourists, but is worth considering for a weekend break away from the downtown, or for those who wish to organize business training or similar events.

Most suited to the organization of smaller business events that require accommodation, the Los Hotel has 17 attractive and inexpensive guest rooms, all with WiFi access. The hotel's meeting and event facilities comprise three conference halls, a large banqueting space, and several marquees and verandas for summer events. The hotel also has a restaurant and lobby bar, and offers various leisure facilities that take advantage of the hotel's parkland surroundings, including two saunas, a picnic ground with barbecue equipment, and a variety of traditional garden games like croquet, boules, and table tennis.

The Los Hotel is located in the far north-east of Moscow, in a six-hectare park that makes up park of the Losiny Ostrov Nature Reserve, an ancient royal hunting ground that is still home to wild boar, rare game birds, several varieties of deer, and elk among others. Just off the Moscow Ring Road, the Los Hotel offers reasonably quick access to all three of Moscow's major airports. The hotel is located between two metro stations, with a bus journey required.
