How do I get to the hotel from Sheremetyevo Airport?

Historical Hotel Sovietsky

Sheremetyevo Airport is located to the north-west of Moscow, around 26km from the Historical Hotel Sovietsky. Whether you choose to travel by car, metro, or even bus, the hotel is very conveniently located for access to/from the airport.

By taxi
The Historical Hotel Sovietsky is located on Leningradsky Prospekt, the main highway which runs north out of the city to Sheremetyevo. The drive to the hotel can take less than 30 minutes in normal traffic. Official airport taxis currently charge around $60, or if you prefer you can order a transfer to meet your flight here.

By train
Aeroexpress trains run from the station behind Sheremetyevo Terminals D, E and F (with a free bus link from Terminal B, but not from Terminal C) to Belarus Rail Station in central Moscow. The journey takes 35 minutes. Trains leave every 30 minutes from 5am to 12.30am daily, and standard adult singles cost around $11. From Belarus Station, it is just over ten minutes walk north up Leningradskiy Prospekt (turning left out of the station) to the Historical Hotel Sovietsky.

By bus
Bus services run from all terminals at Sheremetyevo (useful if you are arriving at Terminal C) to Rechnoy Vokzal Metro Station in the far north of Moscow. Buses run from 5.30am to 12.30am daily every ten minutes or so, and cost $1-2.50 depending on the speed of the service (30 to 60 minutes, the marshrutka minibus service and 851E are the fastest). From Rechnoy Vokzal, travel south five stops to Dinamo Metro Station, which is less than ten minutes' walk from the hotel.
