How do I get to the hotel from Sheremetyevo Airport?

Golden Apple Hotel

Sheremetyevo Airport, located to the north-west of downtown Moscow, is a little over 30km from the Golden Apple Boutique Hotel. While travelling by taxi or transfer is undoubtedly the most comfortable option, Moscow's heavy daytime traffic means that it is unlikely to be the quickest.

By taxi
The drive from Sheremetyevo to the Golden Apple will take around 45 minutes in clear traffic, and considerably more at peak times. Official taxis from the airport currently cost around $60, or for slightly more you can book a transfer to meet your flight here.

By train
The Aeroexpress rail link runs from Sheremetyveo Terminals D, E and F (there is also a free bus link to the airport station from Terminal B, but not from Terminal C) to Belarus Rail Station in Moscow's city center. Trains run every 30 minutes from 5am to 12.30am daily, the journey takes 35 minutes, and standard adult tickets cost $10-15 with discounts for young children and family tickets available. From Belorusskaya Metro Station, travel south on the dark-green line one stop to Mayakovskaya. From there it is about ten minutes' walk to the Golden Apple (south down Tverskaya Ulitsa and second left along Degtyarny Pereulok to the corner of Malaya Dmitrovka Ulitsa).

By bus
Bus services run from all terminals (a particular advantage for arrivals at Terminals B and C) to Rechnoy Vokzal Metro Station (on the dark-green line). Bus services run between 5.30am and 12.30am daily at roughly ten-minute intervals, and fares cost $1-2.50 depending on the speed of the service (30 to 60 minutes). From Rechnoy Vokzal, travel south on the dark-green line seven stops to Mayakovskaya. From there it is around 400m on foot to the Golden Apple Hotel.
