Cosmos Hotel

Purpose built for the 1980 Olympics as a joint French-Soviet project, the vast Cosmos Hotel has long been a favorite destination for business travelers to Moscow thanks to its good business and conference facilities, and proximity to the VVTs exhibition center, which is equally popular with tourists. The Cosmos also has the advantage of being very close to VDNKh Metro Station, and to a number of other interesting sights, including the Botanical Gardens, the Ostankino estate and the Cosmonautics Memorial Museum. Although not the most beautiful, rooms at the Cosmos are comfortable and have all the standard amenities. A high standard of service is also guaranteed.
The hotel has a number of bars and restaurants offering Russian, Asian and European cuisine, including the Planet Cosmos Panoramic View Restaurant which, as its name suggests, offers spectacular views over the city from the 25th floor. Other facilities include a fitness center, bowling, a casino and a nightclub. While not central, the Cosmos is conveniently located and, for its class, represents extremely good value.
