Where can I eat near the hotel?

Bega Hotel

There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood of the hotel.

Parisien
31, Leningradsky Prospekt, Bldg. 9
Located in what used to be a pavilion for the Tsar’s family, this restaurant features the 19th century structure's original palatial. The menu is a mouth-watering mixture of classic French cuisine combined with exotic modern accents. Prices are also aristocratic.

Yar
Established in 1826, Yar can legitimately claim to be one of the oldest restaurants in Russia. It has entertained guests from Rasputin to Chuck Norris. Currently, it is affiliated to Moscow's historic Sovietskaya Hotel. The cuisine is a combination of high-class European and modern Russian. The lavish interior is classically designed and there is also a summer terrace. Cabaret shows are held nightly to entertain the guests. Prices are obviously high.

Taisky Slon
25, Horoshevskoe Shosse, Bldg. 1
The Thai Elephant is a gigantic eatery; it can hold over 200 diners within its four different halls. However the decor is effective in that one does not feel dwarfed by the size of the place. The menu is of course Thai, but it is adapted to suit the much milder palate one tends to find in Russia. Pan-Asian and European dishes are also available. Prices are acceptable.
