How do I get from the hotel to the Kremlin?

The easiest way to reach the Kremlin is to take the metro from Smolenskaya on the pale-blue line (the metro station on the opposite side of the Garden Ring from the Arbat Hotel) and travel two stops east to Aleksandrovskiy Sad. The main Kremlin visitor entrance in the Kutafya Tower is right next to the exit from the metro station. It is also possible to walk to the Kremlin in less than 30 minutes all the way along Ulitsa Arbat, then diagonally through the Arbatskaya Metro Station underpass, and continuing east along Ulitsa Vozdvizhenka.
