Where can I eat near the hotel?

Altay Hotel

There are plenty places in the neighbourhood, where guests of the Altay Hotel can try traditional cuisine as well as international dishes.

Kroshka-Kartoshka
Signal'nyy proyezd, 17
This widespread chain of Russian fast food outlets serves baked potatoes with a huge range of fillings, many of which are mayonnaise heavy, but still tasty and comparatively healthy. Not bad for a quick and cheap bite to eat.

Krysha (Roofbar)
Altuf'evskoye shosse, 8
Located on the top of a shopping mall, this restaurant club has interiors by well-known local designers, and a typical Moscow menu of international favourites with Italian leanings. The large roof terrace, with lawn and loungers, offers impressive views over the city and nearby parks.

Tanuki
Altuf'evskoye shosse, 14
Part of a chain of inexpensive sushi bars, Tanuki offers the standard range of Russified rolls, Asian soups, and noodle dishes. The prices are low enough to make one slightly nervous about the provenance of the fish, but it has the advantage of being open round the clock.
