How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

Vnukovo Airport is about 30 kilometers or 60 minutes away by car. Thanks to the Aeroexpress rail link, the journey by public transport does not have to take very much longer.

By taxi
Official taxis from Vnukovo will cost approximately $70, and the drive to the Altay Hotel will take 50-70 minutes. It is also possible to book a transfer in advance here.

By train
Aeroexpress trains run from Vnukovo to Kiev Railway Station. Trains run every hour on the hour from 6am to 12am daily, and an adult ticket costs roughly $11. To complete your journey, take the metro from Kievskaya Station and travel three stops clockwise on the brown circle line to Novoslobodskaya. Change there to the gray line, and continue north five stops to Vladykino, with is a short walk from the Altay Hotel.

By bus
Buses run from the edge of the car park in front of Vnukovo Terminal D (domestic flights) to Yugo-Zapadnaya Metro Station in the south-west of Moscow. Regular buses (611 and 611c) run from 5.30am to 12.50am daily every 10-15 minutes and take under 25 minutes to reach the metro. Tickets cost $3-4. There are also faster and slightly more expensive minibus shuttles (611b and 45) running from 7am to 11pm. From Yugo Zapadnaya, travel north on the red line eight stops to Biblioteka im. Lenina. Change there for the gray line and travel north eight stops to Vladykino Metro Station which is less than ten minute walk from the Altay Hotel.
