How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

Akvarel Hotel

Vnukovo Airport is roughly 45km from the Akvarel Hotel, to the south-west of central Moscow. As with Moscow's other major airports, the Aeroexpress rail link provides a fast and inexpensive way to reach the downtown, while transfer or taxi are more comfortable, but can be significantly delayed by Moscow's heavy traffic.

By taxi
The drive to the Akvarel Hotel will take 45-90 minutes, depending on traffic conditions, and official airport taxis cost around $60. Alternatively, you can book a transfer with a driver to meet you at the airport here.

By train
Aeroexpress trains run from Vnukovo Airport to Kiev Railway Station in central Moscow. The service operates every hour on the hour from 6am to 12am daily. The journey takes 30-40 minutes, and adult single tickets cost a little over $10. From Kievskaya Metro Station, take the dark-blue line and travel east three stops to Ploshchad Revolyutsii, which is around ten minutes' walk from the Akvarel Hotel.

By bus
There are also bus services from Vnukovo to Yugo Zapadnaya Metro Station at the southern end of the red metro line. Regular services (611 and 611c) operate from 5.30am to 12.50am daily at 10-15 minute intervals. The journey takes just under 25 minutes and tickets cost $3-4. Slightly faster marshrutka minibuses (611b and 45) run from 7am to 11pm. From Yugo Zapadnaya, travel north on the red line nine stops to Okhotny Ryad, which is less than ten minutes' walk from the Akvarel Hotel.
