How do I get to the hotel from Domodedovo Airport?

Akvarel Hotel

Domodedovo International Airport is to the south-east of central Moscow, around 55km from the Akvarel Hotel. Moscow's heavy traffic can mean that taxi or transfer, although undoubtedly the most comfortable way to reach the hotel, is not necessarily the fastest.

By taxi
It will take around 90 minutes to reach the Akvarel Hotel by road. Official airport taxis cost $60-70 (depending on the class of car), or you can arrange a transfer with a driver to meet your flight here.

By train
The Aeroexpress rail service runs from Domodedovo to Paveletsky Railway Station in downtown Moscow. Trains run daily every half-hour from 6am to 12am, and the trip takes 40-50 minutes. Standard adult singles around $11. Then, take the metro from Paveletskaya Metro Station and travel north on the dark-green line two stops north to Teatralnaya, less than ten minutes' walk from the Akvarel Hotel.

By bus
Buses run from the stop between Exits 2 and 3 of the terminal building at Domodedovo to Domodedovskaya Metro Station in the far south-east of Moscow. Regular buses cost $3-4, run from 6am to 12am daily every 15 minutes, and take around 30 minutes to reach the metro, while the minibus shuttle service is marginally quicker, costs $4-5, and runs from 6am to 12am every 15 minutes, with a less frequent service all through the night. From Domodedovskaya, take the dark-green line and travel north nine stops to Teatralnaya Metro Station (roughly 30 minutes). It is then less than ten minutes' walk to the Akvarel Hotel.
