Although it was a little expensive, the Airhotel really is very convenient. Their shuttle service runs punctually to and from the airport every 15 minutes, but if there are a lot of other guests there may be no seats and you may have to wait for the next one. Staff at reception were very friendly and spoke reasonable English. Our room was small and plain, but up to 3-star standards and fairly comfortable. On our first stay we ate in the hotel bar (the buffet looked unpalatable) and were not impressed with the food or the high prices. On our way back through Moscow, we simply went back to the airport and ate in a surprisingly good Uzbek restaurant on the first floor. There was also an Indian restaurant, and some type of Russian buffet, so it's definitely worth exploring.

This hotel appears to have a monopoly on travelers passing through Domodedovo. If, like me, you're staying for a night between flights, then it's worth staying here. Otherwise, if you've got the choice, head just about anywhere closer to the centre. There's nothing really wrong with the hotel, but you can get much better for cheaper in the centre of Moscow.
