The Hotel Aeropolis is located in the north-west of Moscow on Leningradsky Prospekt, part of one of the city's main traffic routes - this one links the Kremlin to Moscow's international airport, Sheremetevo-2.
The nearest airports to the Aeropolis Hotel are Sheremetevo-1 and Sheremetevo-2, both of which can be reached in about an hour by car. Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Bykovo take longer to get to - approximately 2-2.5 hours by car.
Roughly 3.5 kilometers along Leningradsky Prospekt (about 10-15 minutes by car) is Belarus Station. Riga and Kiev Stations are approximately 20-30 minutes away by car, while Moscow's other stations - Leningrad, Kazan, Yaroslavl, Kursk, and Paveletsk - take about 50-60 minutes to get to by car.

2.5 kilometers from the hotel, at 8 Ulitsa Rozanova, is the Imperial Russian Ballet theater, founder in 1994 by the legendary Russian ballerina Maya Plisetskaya. The theater's company comprises 40 dancers from Russia's best ballet schools in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Perm. The company's repertoire comprises favorite ballet classics and more modern productions.
5-10 minutes' walk from the Aeropolis Hotel is the Aviation and Space Exploration History Museum. The museum's 8 rooms are home to various materials - some of them rare - chronicling the growth of aviation and space technology in Russia. The museum's collections hold 1,200 items, about 12,500 literary sources, and more than 30,000 photographs and negatives.
The Moscow State Academic Philharmonic is about 15-20 minutes' drive away. For more than 80 years the Philharmonic has been a musical center of Moscow life. Classical music concerts performed by Russian and foreign artists take place daily. |
