How do I get to the hotel from Domodedovo Airport?

Volga Apart-Hotel

Domodedovo International Airport is located about 50 km to the south-east of central Moscow. Taxi or transfer is probably the most comfortable way to go from the airport to the hotel but due to the unpredictable nature of Moscow’s traffic, the Aeroexpress rail link is often the faster option (and considerably cheaper).

By taxi
The journey from Domodedovo to the Volga Hotel by car will take at least an hour. An official airport taxis costs $50-65 (depending on the class of car). It is also possible to arrange a transfer with a driver to meet your flight here.

By train
Aeroexpress trains run from Domodedovo to Pavelets Railway Station. Trains run daily at 30-minute intervals from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m., and the journey takes 40-50 minutes. Standard adult tickets cost a little over $10, with discounts provided for small children as well as family tickets also available. From Paveletskaya Metro Station, take the green line north one stop to Novokuznetskaya Station and change there to the orange line at Tretyakovskaya. It is another three stops north to Sukharevskaya Station, which is about a 10 min walk from the Volga Hotel.

By bus
There are also bus services running from the airport to Domodedovskaya Metro Station, in the far south-east of Moscow. Buses leave the airport from the stop between exits 2 and 3 of the arrivals lounge. There is a choice of regular bus service ($3-4, from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily every 15 minutes, journey time 25-30 minutes) and a minibus shuttle service ($4-5, from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. every 15 minutes with a less frequent service during the night). Take the dark-green line north from Domodedovskaya and travel eight stops to Novokuznetskaya Metro Station. There, change to the orange line and travel three stops north to Sukharevskaya. From there, it is about ten minutes on foot to the Volga Hotel.
