There is a wide choice of accommodation available at the Universitetskaya Hotel, from very low-cost Economy Rooms, where fittings and furnishings are definitely worn, to relatively well equipped but still inexpensive renovated suites. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. Room rates do not include breakfast, but all meals are available for a small extra fee.
Small and very cheap, the Universitetskaya Hotel's Economy Single Rooms measure 10 square meters, but do not seem too cramped thanks to a bare minimum of furniture – single bed, bedside table and chair – and a combination of pale walls and natural-wood furnishings and floors.

The largest and most luxurious accommodation at the Universitetskaya Hotel, the Suite is surprisingly elegant and well equipped, with dark-wood reproduction furniture, attractive parquet flooring, and amenities including a large flatscreen TV and modern PC with Internet access. There is even a small sauna in the bathroom. Measuring 60 square meters, the suite is divided into bedroom with queen-size bed, and living room with dining table for four, writing desk with chair, coffee table, sofa, and two armchairs.
