How do I get to the hotel from Kursk Station?

Kursk Station, the Moscow terminal for trains to/from central Russia (Kursk and Nizhny Novgorod), eastern Ukraine (Donetsk and Kharkiv), and some Sapsan high-speed services from St. Petersburg. It is a little more than 20 km from the Soyuz Hotel by road.

By taxi
The drive to the Soyuz Hotel from the station will take around 40 minutes in reasonable traffic, or significantly more at peak times. Taxis should cost $40-50 if you are willing to negotiate on arrival, or to save trouble you can book a transfer with driver to meet your train here.

By metro
From Kurskaya Metro Station, which is connected to the concourse of the mainline station, take the metro on the dark-blue line and travel one stop to Ploshchad Revolyutsii. There, change to the dark-green line and travel nine stops north to Rechnoy Vokzal. From there, take the 138 or 739 bus, and it is a ten-minute ride to the Soyuz Hotel, which has its own bus stop.
