How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

The Peter 1st Hotel is roughly 33km from Vnukovo Airport, which is located to the south-west of Moscow.

By taxi
If you travel to the hotel by car from Vnukovo, the drive will take around an hour in moderate traffic. Official airport taxis currently cost roughly $60, or if you prefer you can book a transfer with a driver to meet you at the airport here.

By train
The Aeroexpress rail service runs between Vnukovo Airport and Kiev Rail Station. The service operates every hour from 6am to 12am daily. The journey less than 40 minutes, and adult single tickets cost just over $10, with discounts for children, family tickets and first class tickets available. To complete your journey, take the metro from Kievskaya Metro Station and travel east three stops to Ploshchad Revolyutsii, which is around ten minutes' walk from the Peter 1st Hotel.

By bus
There are buses running from Vnukovo (the stop is across the car park from the terminal building) to Yugo Zapadnaya Metro Station at the southern end of the red metro line. Regular services (611 and 611c) operate from 5.30am to 12.50am daily at 10-15 minute intervals. The journey takes a little over 20 minutes and tickets cost around $3. There are also faster marshrutka minibuses (611b and 45) that run from 7am to 11pm. From Yugo Zapadnaya, travel north on the red line ten stops (24mins) to Lubyanka, which is around seven minutes' walk from the Peter 1st Hotel.
