The nearest railroad stations, Kiev and Paveletsk, are about 20 minutes' drive away. Belarus and Kursk stations are reachable in 40-45 minutes, while Yaroslavl, Kazan, Leningrad and Riga stations take about 1 hour to reach by car.
Half a kilometer or so from the Hotel Orlyonok is Vorobyovye Gory metro station - the walk to the metro takes 5-7 minutes.
Local Sightseeing
To the northwest of the Orlyonok hotel is the Luzhniki sports complex, which consists of 140 different sporting arenas and employs more than 3,500 people. The center of the complex is the Luzhniki Stadium. Thousands of people use the complex every day.20 minutes' walk away is the Darwin State Museum, Russia's only biology museum dedicated to evolution. It is home to a unique collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures and natural-history exhibits documenting the development of life on Earth.
Roughly 4.5 kilometers or 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel is Poklonnaya Gora, currently home to a memorial complex dedicated to the victory in the Second World War and comprising a park, a museum, several statues, and various religious buildings.
