How do I get to the hotel from Domodedovo Airport?

National Hotel

Domodedovo International Airport is the furthest from central Moscow, roughly 55km to the south-east of the downtown and the National Hotel. The choice is between the comfort and expense of a taxi or transfer, and the more certain journey times and low cost of the Aeroexpress rail service.

By taxi
The journey from Domodedovo to the National will take around 90 minutes. Official airport taxis cost $50 (for an economy sedan) or $70 (for an executive-class car). You can also order an airport transfer with a driver to meet you at the airport here.

By train
The Aeroexpress rail link runs direct from the station at Domodedovo to Pavelets Railway Station in central Moscow. Trains run daily from 6am to 12am at 30-minute intervals, and the journey takes 40-50 minutes. Adult single tickets cost a little over $10 one-way, and there are discounts for children, family tickets and first class tickets also available. From Paveletskaya Metro Station, travel two stops north on the dark-green line to Teatralnaya Metro Station, which is around 100m from the National Hotel.

By bus
There are also bus services, some of which operate through the night, running from the airport to Domodedovskaya Metro Station in the far south-west of Moscow. From the airport bus stop, located between exits 2 and 3 of the arrivals lounge, regular bus services (journey time 25-30 minutes) run from 6am to 12am daily every 15 minutes, and cost a little over $3. There is also a marshrutka minibus shuttle service ($4-5, from 6am to 12am every 15 minutes, and with a less frequent service all through the night). You then need to take the metro and travel north on the dark-gree line nine stops to Teatralnaya. From the metro it is less than five minutes' walk to the National Hotel.
