Although the hotel was fully renovated in 2000, great efforts have been made to preserve the hotel's historic atmosphere and individual charm, with genuine antique furniture and decorations combined with expertly chosen modern reproductions. | The Metropol's single Business Suite is designed and fitted especially for business travelers, and has the space and facilities required to work or host meetings en suite in style and comfort. The suite measures over 95 square meters, and comprises a spacious bedroom with king-size bed, and extremely large, open-plan living room with a board table, office area with writing desk, and relaxation area with coffee table and comfortable soft furnishings. The Business Suite also has a kitchenette with equipment for preparing basic refreshments.
