How do I get to the hotel from Sheremetyevo Airport?

Marriott Grand Hotel

Sheremetyevo Airport is located to the north-west of downtown Moscow, a little over 30km from the Moscow Marriott Grand Hotel by road. Taking a taxi or transfer is undoubtedly the most comfortable travel option, but Moscow's daytime traffic congestion means that the Aeroexpress rail link is normally the quickest, and very convenient for the Marriott Grand.

By taxi
Driving from Sheremetyevo to the Marriott Grand Hotel takes around 45 minutes in reasonable traffic, and but can take considerably longer at peak times. Official airport taxis currently charge around $60, or you can book a transfer to meet your flight here.

By train
The Aeroexpress rail link runs from Sheremetyveo Terminals D, E and F (there is also a free bus link to the airport station from Terminal B, but not from Terminal C) to Belarus Rail Station in downtown Moscow, less than 1km from the Marriott Grand Hotel. Trains run every half hour from 5am to 12.30am daily. The journey takes 35 minutes and standard adult tickets cost $10-15, with child discounts, family tickets and first-class tickets available. It is possible to walk from Belarus Station straight down 1-ya Tverskaya-Yamskaya Ulitsa to the hotel (about 20 minutes), or to take the metro from Belorusskaya Metro Station and travel one stop south on the dark-green line to Mayakovskaya, which is around 100m from the hotel.

By bus
There are bus services running from all terminals at Sheremetyevo (a particular advantage for arrivals at Terminals B and C) to Rechnoy Vokzal Metro Station in the far north of Moscow. Services run from 5.30am to 12.30am daily at roughly ten-minute intervals, and fares cost $1-2.50 depending on the speed of the service (30 to 60 minutes). To complete your journey to the Moscow Marriott Grand Hotel, travel south on the dark-green line seven stops to Mayakovskaya, which is less than five minutes' walk from the hotel.
