The simplest way to get to Moscow's most famous art museum from the Lotte Hotel is to take the metro from Smolenskaya Metro Station on the dark-blue line and travel east two stops to Ploshchad Revolyutsii. Change to the dark-green line and continue south one stop to Novokuznetskaya, which is less than ten minutes' walk from the Tretyakov Gallery on Lavrushinsky Pereulok (the "Old Tretyakov").
