It is also possible to reach the Bolshoi Theatre on foot from the Kadashevskaya Hotel. On leaving the hotel, turn right along the embankment to Ulitsa Bolshaya Ordynka and then turn left to cross Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge. Then, walk straight across Red Square and through the Resurrection Gate. Cross Manezhnaya Ploshchad through the pedestrain underpass and exit to your left on the far side of Ulitsa Okhotny Ryad (at the end of the underpass). Walk along Ulitsa Okhotny Ryad and Teatralnaya Proezd, and you will soon see the Bolshoi on your left. The walk will take around 20 minutes. |
