Opened in 2009, the Holiday Inn Simonovsky is Moscow's fifth Holiday Inn, housed in an attractive low-rise new-build just south-east of central Moscow and very close to the metro.
The Holiday Inn Simonovsky offers 217 stylish and very well equipped guest rooms, all fully fitted to international 4-star standards, and many with impressive views of the nearby Novospassky Monastery. Like all Moscow's Holiday Inns, the hotel also has excellent facilities for business events, with eight modern meeting spaces for up to 80 people. Dining is at the sleek Sanctuary Restaurant, serving Japanese and European cuisine, and the hotel also has a 24-hour lounge-bar. There is a compact 24-hour gym also available free-of-charge for guests.
Located close to the Moskva River, about 5km south-west of the Kremlin and Red Square, the Holiday Inn Simonovsky is only ten minutes' walk from Proletarskaya Metro Station. The hotel is also reasonably close to Paveletskiy Rail Station, for the Aeroexpress link to Domodedovo Airport, and just a few steps from Novospassky Monastery and Krutitsy Metochion, two of Moscow's oldest and best preserved medieval monasteries.
