Heliopark Empire Hotel

The area around the Heliopark Empire Hotel is not particularly rich in visitor attractions, with most of Tverskaya Ulitsa's sights and best shops located at the southern end of the street. The main sight of interest within walking distance of the hotel may well be Belorusskiy Station itself. Like most of Moscow's mainline stations, it is a remarkable architectural monument, built in 1870 in the Russian Revival style. The station also contains a small museum.

About 15 minutes’ walk from the Heliopark will bring guests to Triumphalnaya Ploshchad, an impressive square featuring fine examples of Stalinist neoclassical architecture and dominated by a monumental statue of the great Soviet poet Vladimir Mayakovsky. Also on the square is the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, home to the Symphony Orchestra of Russia, and one of Moscow's premier venues for live classical music.
