The Golden Ring Hotel is superbly situated for eating out, with scores of cafes and restaurants along Ulitsa Arbat, as well as several high-class establishments around the Garden Ring, many of them offering al fresco dining.
Top-end
Zafferano (8/10 Novinsky Bulvar) has a rooftop summer terrace and serves exquisite Azeri cuisine with ingredients (and kitchen staff) supplied directly from Baku. Cantinetta Antinori (20 Denezhny Pereulok) is part of a small international chain of up-market Italian restaurants serving traditional Tuscan dishes.
Mid-range
Zhiguli (11 Ulitsa Noviy Arbat, Bldg. 1) is a Soviet-themed beer hall and restaurant serving simple Russian food and some of Moscow's best beers.
Value
In the building next to the Golden Ring, Dim-Sum (3 Smolenskaya Ploshchad) is a stylish bistro serving inexpensive dim sum. Bosfor (47/23 Ulitsa Arbat) is a reasonable Turkish restaurant with a summer verandah.
