How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

Vnukovo, to the south-west of Moscow, is the closest airport to the Golden Ring Hotel, just under 30km away by road.

By taxi
Official taxis from Vnukovo should cost around $60, and the drive to the Golden Ring Hotel will take around 45 minutes. You can also book an airport transfer with a driver to meet your flight here.

By train
The journey from Vnukovo to the Golden Ring Hotel is very simple by train. The Aeroexpress runs from the airport to Kiev Railway Station, less than 1km from the hotel. The service runs on the hour from 6am to 12im every day, and tickets cost a little over $10 for adults, with discounts for young children and family tickets available. From Kievskaya Metro Station, travel one-stop east on the dark-blue line to Smolenskaya Metro Station. When you exit the metro onto Ulitsa Arbat, the Golden Ring is clearly visible to your right, just over 100m away.

By bus
The bus services from Vnukovo are not particularly convenient for the Golden Ring Hotel. Buses leave from the edge of the car park in front of Terminal D (domestic flights), and travel to Yugo-Zapadnaya Metro Station at the southern end of the red line. Regular buses (611 and 611c) run from 5.30am to 12.50am daily at 10-15 minute intervals and the journey takes just under 25 minutes. Tickets cost $3-4. There are also faster and slightly more expensive minibus shuttles (611b and 45) running from 7am to 11pm. From Yugo Zapadnaya, travel north on the red line nine stops to Okhotny Ryad. Change there for the dark-blue line and travel west two stops to Smolenskaya Metro Station which is less than 100m from the Golden Ring Hotel.
