How do I get to the hotel from Domodedovo Airport?

Golden Ring Hotel

Domodedovo Airport is situated some distance to the south-east of central Moscow, roughly 50km by road from the Golden Ring Hotel.

By taxi
Due to Moscow's heavy traffic, it can take up to 2 hours to get from Domodedovo by car. Official airport taxis cost $50-70 (depending on the type of car), or if you prefer order a transfer with driver to meet your flight here.

By train
The Aeroexpress rail link is nearly always the fastest way to reach central Moscow from Domodedovo. Trains runs from the airport to Paveletsky Station daily from 6am to 12am every half-hour, the journey takes 40-50 minutes, and standard adult tickets cost a little over $10, with discounts for small children and families. To get to the Golden Ring, take the metro from Paveletskaya Metro Station and travel north on the dark-green line two stops to Teatralnaya. Change there to the dark-blue line and continue west two stops to Smolenskaya Station. As you exit the station onto Ulitsa Arbat, the Golden Ring Hotel is clearly visible to your right across the Garden Ring, less than 200m away.

By bus
Buses are the least comfortable but certainly the cheapest way to reach the centre, and also the only public transport option that runs through the night. The bus stop at Domodedovo Airport is located between exits 2 and 3 of arrivals. All buses run to Domodedovskaya Metro Station in the south-west of the city. The regular bus service runs from 6am to 12am daily at 15-minute intervals, costs $3-4, and take 25-30 minutes. There is also a faster minibus shuttle service that costs $4-5 and also runs every 15 minutes, with less frequent services throughout the night.

To continue your journey from Domodedovskaya, take the dark-green line and travel north nine stops to Teatralnaya. Change there to the dark-blue line, and travel west two stops to Smolenskaya. From the metro, it is less than five minutes' walk to the Golden Ring Hotel.
