How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

Vnukovo Airport is located to the south-west of central Moscow, roughly 40 km from the Brighton Hotel. The lack of a metro station close to the hotel means that taxi or prearranged transfer is definitely the best way to make the journey.

By taxi
Official taxis from Vnukovo to the Brighton Hotel will cost around $60, and the drive will take around an hour, depending on traffic conditions. If you would prefer the security of a driver to meet your flight, you can book a transfer here.

By train
The Aeroexpress rail link runs from Vnukovo to Kiev Railway Station in central Moscow. Trains run every hour from 6am to 12am daily. The journey takes 30-40 minutes and tickets cost a little over $10. There are discounts provided for children, family tickets, and first class tickets also available. To continue your journey by metro, from Kievskaya Metro Station, take the brown circle line and travel clockwise three stops to Novoslobodskaya. Change to the gray line and head north two stops to Dmitrovskaya. The Brighton Hotel is approximately 15 minutes' walk from the metro, and the hotel also provides a free on-demand shuttle service if you are able to arrange it.

By bus
There are also bus services running from the airport to Yugo Zapadnaya Metro Station at the southern end of the red metro line. Regular services (611 and 611c) operate from 5.30am to 12.50am daily at 10-15 minute intervals. The journey takes a little less than 25 minutes and tickets cost $3-4. There are also faster minibus services (611b and 45) that run from 7am to 11pm. From Yugo Zapadnaya, travel north on the red line eight stops to Biblioteka Lenina. Then change to the gray line and go five stops north to Dmitrovskaya. It is around 1 km from the metro to the Brighton Hotel, and you can either walk the distance or try to arrange for the hotel's on-demand shuttle service to pick you up.
