How do I get to the hotel from Sheremetyevo Airport?

Best Western Vega Hotel & Convention Center

Sheremetyevo International Airport is just under 40 km by road from the Best Western Vega Hotel.

By taxi
In reasonable traffic conditions, it takes about one hour to reach the Best Western Vega by car from Sheremetyevo. Official airport taxis currently cost around $60, or if you prefer you can book an airport transfer to meet your flight here.

By train
The Aeroexpress service operates between Sheremetyevo Airport Station (behind Terminals D, E and F) and Belarus Rail Station in central Moscow. Trains depart every 30 minutes from 5am to 12.30am daily, with a journey time of around 35 minutes. Standard adult tickets cost a little over $10, with child tickets, family tickets and first-class tickets available. Then, from Belorusskaya Metro Station, take the brown circle line and travel four stops clockwise to Kurskaya. Change to the dark-blue line and continue four stations north to Partizanskaya, which is about three minutes' walk from the hotel.

By bus
Although it makes for a very long journey, it is also possible to catch a bus from any terminal at Sheremetyevo Airport to Rechnoy Vokzal Metro Station in the far north of Moscow. Regular services run from 5.35am to 12.49am and take around 30 minutes to reach the metro. Be sure to use the 851E service (as opposed to simply 851) to avoid a longer journey with several suburban stops. Single tickets cost around $1. There is also a marshrutka minibus service that runs the same route from 6.45am and 9.45pm, is slightly quicker, and costs a little over $2. From Rechnoy Vokzal, travel south on the dark-green line nine stops to Teatralnaya. Change there to the dark-blue line and travel five stops east to Partizanskaya Station. The Best Western Vega Hotel is just over five minutes' walk from the metro.
