The Assambleya Nikitskaya is within comfortable walking distance of the vast majority of Moscow's most popular downtown visitor attractions, including the Kremlin, Red Square, the Bolshoi Theatre, and the Pushkin Museum of Fine Art.
Just a few steps from the hotel on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Ulitsa is the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, which shares honours with the St. Petersburg Conservatory as Russia's premier college of music, with alumni including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Stanislav Richter, Mikhail Pletnev, Rodion Schedrin, and Alfred Schnittke. Housed in a beautiful 19th century mansion, it is also probably Moscow's finest venue for classical music concerts, with local and international stars playing almost every night.
Also on Bolshaya Nikitskaya a few steps beyond the Conservatory stand the 1634 the Maloe Voznesenie ("Small Ascension") Church which, as the name suggests, is a diminuitive but chamring example of traditional Russian church architecture.

| On Foot: | The Kremlin is around ten minutes' walk from the Assambleya Nikitskaya Hotel. On exiting the hotel, turn left along Bolshaya Nikitskaya Ulitsa and walk to the end of the street. Turn right again along Ulitsa Mokhovaya, and then take the first left past the Manege Exhibition Centre. You will see in front of you the visitor entrance to the Kremlin via the Kutafya Tower. | On Foot: | You will need just over ten minutes to reach Red Square on foot from the Assambleya Nikitskaya. Turn left out of the hotel onto Ulitsa Bolshaya Nikitskaya, walk to the end of the street and turn left again. At the end of the next block, use the pedestrian underpass to cross to your right onto Manezhnaya Ploshchad. In front of you, you will see the medieval Resurrection Gate, which leads onto Red Square. | On Foot: | The walk to the theater will take just under 15 minutes. When exiting the hotel, turn hard left onto Gazetny Pereulok. When you get to the end of the first block, use the pedestrian underpass to your left to cross Ulitsa Tverskaya, and then continue along the pedestrianized section of Gazetny Pereulok for one more block.
