How do I get from the hotel to the Bolshoi Theater?

If you choose to take a taxi to the theater, the drive should take 10-15 minutes, but be aware that during rush hour (which is at its worst around the time most evening performance start at the Bolshoi), it can take considerably longer. It may therefore be preferable to bear the crush and take the metro from Polyanka Station, about seven minutes' walk from the hotel. Travel north one stop on the gray line to Borovitskaya, change there to the red line and continue east one stop to Okhotny Ryad, which is around five minutes' walk from the Bolshoi Theater.
