Which is the nearest metro station? Kuznetskiy Most, on the purple line, is only five minutes' walk from the Peter 1st Hotel. Turn right out of the hotel, and then left along Kuznetskiy Most to reach it. Kuznetskiy Most Station connects to Lubyanka Station on the red line. Only slightly further from the hotel, next to the Bolshoi Theatre, Teatralnaya Station is on the dark-green line, and connects to the red and dark-blue lines, providing fast access to all corners of Moscow (see metro map). |

How do I get to the hotel from Sheremetyevo Airport? Sheremetyevo-2 International Airport is 30km north-west of the Peter 1st Hotel. By taxi or pre-arranged transfer, it will take around an hour to reach the hotel, and considerably longer at peak times. It may be faster, although less comfortable, to take a marshrutka or mini-bus taxi from outside the arrivals lounge to Rechnoi Vokzal Metro Station at the end of the dark-green line. The ride takes about 20 minutes, and from there it is about half-an-hour on the metro to Teatralnaya Metro Station, ten minutes' walk from the Peter 1st. |

How do I get to the hotel from Domodedovo Airport? Domodedovo International airport is around 50km from the Peter 1st Hotel, and over one hour's drive even in light traffic. For those who do not with to take a taxi or pre-order and airport transfer, the Aeroexpress rail link runs from the airport to Paveletsky Station in central Moscow. Trains leave hourly throughout the day, and every half-hour at peak times, and the ride takes 40 minutes. From Paveletskaya Metro Station, take the dark-green line two stops north to Teatralnaya Station, which is around ten minutes' walk from the Peter 1st Hotel. If you are arriving late at night or very early in the morning, the only public transport option is the shuttle mini-bus service, which runs from the arrivals lounge exit to Domodedovo Metro Station, on the dark-green line in the far south-east of Moscow. The drive to the metro takes just under 30 minutes, and the train ride to Teatralnaya Metro Station is about the same again. |

How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport? Vnukovo Airport is around 25km from the Peter 1st Hotel to the south-west. By taxi or pre-booked transfer the journey takes a little under one hour. If you have less luggage, the easiest option is to take the Aeroexpress rail link from the airport to Kievskiy Station. Trains run almost hourly from 8am to 10pm, and the ride takes 35 minutes. From Kievskaya Metro Station, attached to the mainline station, take the dark-blue line two stops east to Ploshchad Revolyutsii, which is just over 10 minutes walk from the Peter 1st Hotel. If your flight arrives late at night or very early in the morning, the only public transport available is the No. 45 marshrutka public minibus, which runs from the arrivals lounge exit to Yugo-Zapadnaya Metro Station at the bottom end of the red line. The drive takes about 20 minutes, and it is a direct line from there to Lubyanka Station, about ten minutes' walk from the Peter 1st Hotel. |

How do I get from the hotel to the Tretyakov Gallery? The Tretyakov Gallery is easily accessed from the Peter 1st Hotel by metro. Go one stop south from Kuznetskiy Most Station and change onto the orange line at Kitai-Gorod. Tretyakovskaya Station is one stop further south, and the gallery is five minutes' walk from there. Alternatively, allow an hour to walk the whole way, passing through Red Square and across the Bolshoi Moskvoretskiy Bridge, and taking in some of Moscow's most spectacular views on the way. |
