Where in the city is the hotel located? The Budapest Hotel is located Kitai Gorod, the centre of Moscow since the 13th century. The pretty side street where it stands is called Petrovskie Linii, and runs between Ulitsa Petrovka and Neglinnaya Ulitsa, two of Moscow's most fashionable and attractive streets. Which is the nearest metro station? The nearest station to the Budapest Hotel is Kuznetskiy Most, only five minutes from the hotel. To reach it walk right down Neglinnaya Ulitsa and then left along Kuznetskiy Most. Kuznetskiy Most is connected to Lubyanka Metro Station, on the red line. Only slightly further from the hotel, Teatralnaya Metro Station, next to the Bolshoi Theatre at the bottom of Ulitsa Petrovka, is on the dark green line at an interchange with the red and dark blue lines, giving easy and quick access to almost any corner of the city. How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport? Vnukovo Airport, about 45km west of central Moscow, is about one hour and twenty minutes' drive from the Hotel Budapest, depending on traffic in the city centre. It can also be reached easily by public transport thanks to the Aeroexpress rail link, which runs to Kievsky Station roughly every hour between 7am and 10pm. Journey time is 35 minutes. From Kievskaya Metro Station, take the dark blue line to Ploshchad Revolyutsii, which brings you out right next to Red Square. From here it is a little over ten minutes' walk to the Budapest Hotel. If your flight arrives outside these times, the only public transport option is to take the No. 45 shuttle minibus to Yugo-Zapadnaya Metro Station at the bottom of the red line. The journey takes a little over 20 minutes. From here it is about 25 minutes' ride to Lubyanka Metro Station, which is around 5 minutes' walk from the Budapest Hotel. |

If you are travelling by taxi, Komsomolskaya Ploshchad - commonly known as "Three Stations Square" - is about 4km north-east of the Budapest Hotel, and the drive will take 15-30 minutes.
